Our retail Ski & Board Shop offers personal service and is conveniently located hillside in our lower lodge. Purchase your equipment where slope-side service is always top-notch and the customer always comes first. We have great gear, equipment, clothing, and apparel, we are always around if you have a problem or additional question when you are actually enjoying your purchase. All equipment needs to be maintained with wax and tunes throughout the season. Stop in, ask questions…if we don’t have an answer or solution, we will research it and get back to you. Once ski season begins our Ski & Board Shop follows the hours and days of the area. If the Swiss Valley alters hours, closes, or delays opening the hills due to inclement weather the Ski & Board Shop will alter its opening times as well. If the weather is questionable, please call snow phone at 269-244-8016, sign up for Text Notifications or visit the SNOW REPORT for updates before traveling.When the Area is open for Skiing Ski & Board Shop Hours:

M-F 10am – 8:30pm

Sat 9am – 8:30pm

Sun 9am – 4:30pm

** If the Swiss Valley alters hours, closes, or delays opening the hills due to inclement weather the Ski Shop will alter its opening times as well. **

*Shop will close as early as 8 pm on weeknights when experiencing low traffic or inclement weather.

Superb Slope-Side Service

Conveniently located in the slope-side in the lower lodge, we have a Full-Service Tech Shop, offer equipment, apparel, logo wear, and most anything you would need to complete your visit and keep you comfortable while at Swiss Valley. After a few runs, discover your skis need wax? Drop them off in the shop on your way to the chalet for a warm-up. Not just shopping, frequenting our Ski & Board Shop is an experience. Where else can you use or test the product or service that you purchased without getting back into your car? We have excellent tech staff, who are all skiers and boarders, dedicated to the sport and ready to serve you.

High-Performance Rental / Demo Fleet

Want to try before you buy? Just ask! Buy them where you ski them! Rack to the hill in under 20 minutes! Our “On The Hill” Ski & Board Shop offers a unique opportunity to try the brands we carry before you buy. You can also use the demo program to experience a performance rental for the day. We offer demo skis from Dynastar, Elan, Fischer, and demo snowboards from Marhar and Ride. We carry Snowboards and Skis for both genders. We believe in the brands we sell and would like you to as well. As an on the hill shop, our customers benefit from having the option of trying before buying! The following guidelines and pricing apply: You must have your own Ski or Board Boots and be 18 years of age (unless signed by a parent). Rates as follows: $ 20.00 for to 3 hours and $ 35.00 for 6 hours. Our Demo Fleet may not be used in the park and is designated for Intermediate/Advanced Skiers & Riders only.

Demo Days

Watch for Ski & Board Shop sponsored Demo Days throughout the ski season. Sales Teams representing several equipment lines will set up right on the hill and provide the opportunity to try and then buy. A great opportunity to truly investigate your purchase. Frequently Asked Equipment Questions

? – How often should I get my (board or skis) waxed and sharpened?
Answer: When the base starts to become dry (whitish along the edge) or rough feeling on the base & and the edges should be sharpened when they feel dull and not sharp.
? – What should I do with my equipment in the summer?
Answer: Always have a summer wax put on after you are done for the season. Swiss Valley Ski and Board Shop charges $10 for a ‘summer wax’. Store your equipment over the summer indoors at room temperature out of the sun. Avoid damp storage areas that will cause the edges to rust. Remember to have your summer waxed scraped at the start of the next season.
